About Us
I am a Pug! I will be 2 yrs old in July 2011. I’m still young! I like to eat, sleep, cuddle, play fetch (sometimes I try to play keep away, but mommy doesn’t like that and stops playing), I love to run (don’t laugh, it’s true!) That could be the reason why I am nice and trim (beside the fact that mommy STARVES me!) I love going to the dog park and running with all the big dogs, I can actually keep up pretty good! Did I say I like to eat? I love to eat, but mommy said I am on strict rations, something about getting fat, whatever….I always make sure I hang around her when she’s cooking though, because mommy sometimes drops yummy treats and the rule is, if it hits the floor, it’s MINE! I am too quick for her, I grab it before she even realizes it fell on the floor. I do get a yummy dog treat everyday if I am good. Mommy makes me high five for it, but that’s ok, it makes her smile, I like that!
I do not like the rain..what is up with that? Why does it have to be all wet out? Can’t she just let me do my business inside where it’s nice and dry? I also do not care to be cold, but mommy buys me nice coats to wear in the winter, so it’s not so bad.
I have a human brother, Jeremy, and I like playing with him. He will play tug and fetch with me for a long time! Sometimes, when I do not want to play with Jeremy, I just run to mommy and she tells him to leave me be

My name is Trish. I recently started working outside the home again for a local trim carpentry company and at first Otis wasn’t too thrilled with it. I also pet sit for people in the area, which I very much enjoy. I always had large dogs and when my 13yr old German Shepard started to slow down, I thought that maybe a puppy would pep him up a bit and give him a reason to stay around longer. It did! My husband is the one that mentioned getting a pug. I never would have thought of getting a pug, but I’m glad I did! He is a funny, so ugly he’s cute, dog. I love him to death! We bonded right away and I was hooked! He makes me laugh and he knows when I am upset and cuddles with me even more. Storm, my Shepard taught him some basics on dog manners before he passed on, but I know if Storm had lived longer, he and Otis would have been very close!

Nice to meet you Trish. Sure wish you were in my area to pet sit. I get desparate at times. Your Otis blog is cute. I feel like I know more about you and Otis now. Keep up the good work.
